Use case
Edit TikTok videos by telling the editor what to do
Most TikToks are footage you already shot. The work is the edit: tight cuts, captions people can read on mute, and a first second that stops the scroll.
Upload the clips you filmed, then ask the chat for the TikTok edit: it cuts the pauses and ums, keeps the best take of each line, adds captions timed to every word, writes hooks and puts one on screen as the video opens, and adds music that dips under your voice. Everything stays inside TikTok's safe area and exports at 1080×1920.
The example, and the script it came from
- Vertical 9:16
- 15 s
- Voice: Liam
- Captions: pop
This is the whole script that went in. Everything else (the narration, the pictures, the graphics and the captions) our AI made from it.
An octopus has three hearts. Two of them pump blood through the gills. The third sends it to the rest of the body. But when an octopus swims, that third heart stops beating. That's why octopuses would rather crawl.
The TikTok edit in one message
One request, one Undo. Every change is on the timeline, so you can keep the cuts and retime the hook by hand.
- AI edit: cut pauses, fillers and retakes, kept the best take of each line
- Added captions, one word at a time, spoken word yellow
- Wrote 5 hooks and put the first on screen for the opening
- Added music, ducked under your voice
Hooks you can test
Our AI writes several opening lines for the video. The first goes on screen; the first three export as A, B and C versions of the same video, so you can post them on different days and keep the one that holds viewers.

Captions people read on mute
Most people watch with the sound off at first. One-word captions in a bold font, a box behind each spoken word, or a highlighted word in a line: pick the style once and every caption follows. Retype a word the transcript got wrong and it keeps its timing.

Clear of TikTok's buttons
TikTok lays the like, comment and share buttons on the right and the account name and caption at the bottom. The editor keeps captions and text out of the right 150 and bottom 360 pixels of the 1080×1920 frame, and out of the top 220.
No footage? Start from a script
For fact and story TikToks, paste a few lines and our AI makes the whole vertical video. The octopus video here is 15 seconds from four sentences: "An octopus has three hearts. Two of them pump blood through the gills. The third sends it to the rest of the body. But when an octopus swims, that third heart stops beating." It closes on "That's why octopuses would rather crawl."
Sounds and finishing touches
- Sound effects at a moment: pop, whoosh, ding, ka-ching, bass drop, riser and more
- Speed one clip up or the whole video, with captions retimed to match
- A cover frame for the thumbnail
- Export an MP4 to post, or schedule it from the calendar
Questions
Can it edit footage I filmed on my phone?
Yes. Upload the clips and edit them by chat or on the timeline: cuts, captions, text, music, speed and graphics.
What size does it export for TikTok?
1080×1920, vertical 9:16. The same file works on Reels and Shorts.
Does it remove retakes?
AI edit compares every take in the video and keeps the best one of each line, then cuts the pauses and ums.
Can I post straight to TikTok?
Export the MP4 and post it. The calendar schedules to connected Instagram and Facebook accounts today; TikTok isn't connectable yet.
What does it cost?
Every paid plan includes the editor and the chat: Pro $20 a month, Studio $50, Max $100.

- Silence removerCut every pause, um and retake from a talking video in one go. Our AI finds the dead air from the words and the sound, and you can still change every cut.
- Animated captionsAdd captions timed to each word: karaoke fills, one big word at a time, a highlighted spoken word or a tag. Restyle them all at once or by chat.
- Chat editingType the edit in plain words: cut the pauses, add captions, swap the music, add a lower third. Our AI makes it on a real timeline, with one Undo.
- YouTube ShortsWrite a 15-second fact and get a finished vertical Short: 1080×1920, a picture for every line, a narrator and big captions. Then make the next one.
- Product videosTurn a product's story into a launch video: feature cards, the numbers on screen, a narrator and a clean close with the name. Vertical or landscape.
