Feature
Edit your video by typing what you want
The chat sits beside the timeline. Ask for an edit the way you'd ask an editor, and watch it land on the tracks.
Chat editing means you describe the change and our AI makes it in the project: cuts, captions, text, music, graphics, speed, framing and exports. Every answer lists what it changed, highlights it on the timeline and has one Undo for the whole request, so nothing is hidden and nothing is final.

What you can ask for
The chat works on the same project you see. It reads the clips, the transcript with its numbered lines, the captions, the text and the audio before it changes anything, so a request like "cut line 12" or "the bit where I say the price twice" means something to it.
A single message can hold several edits. Our AI runs them in order and reports each one.
- Cuts: a stretch by time, transcript lines, a word or phrase wherever it's said, every um and uh, every pause
- Clips: trim, split, delete, reorder, speed from 0.25x to 4x, mute or set the volume
- Captions: add them with word timing, restyle all of them, retype one line
- Text and hooks: put text on screen, change the opening line, write A/B/C hooks
- Sound: add music, swap it, duck it under speech, add one of 12 sound effects
- Graphics: find a template, add it with your words, edit or remove it
- Shape and export: a copy in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, the export itself, the calendar
A request and what changed
Each answer is a short list of edits, not a paragraph about editing. The changed items light up on the timeline so you can check them in the preview before you move on.
- Cut 41 pauses longer than 0.3 s (the video is 18 s shorter)
- Cut 9 filler words
- Added captions with word timing, one word at a time
- Set the hook: "I tested 3 water bottles" for the first 3 s
It edits a timeline, not a black box
Other AI editors hand back a finished file. Here every change is an ordinary edit on the tracks: a cut is a cut you can drag back open, a caption is a caption you can retype, a lower third is a graphic you can retime.
So you can let our AI do the first pass and finish by hand, or the other way round. The tools rail, the trim handles and the keyboard shortcuts are all still there.

One Undo for the whole request
A request that made six changes comes back with one Undo. Press it and the project is exactly as it was before you asked, including the edits our AI made on its own along the way.
Ask again with different words if the first try wasn't it. The chat remembers the conversation, so "less aggressive" or "keep the second take instead" works.

Questions
Do I need to know how to edit?
No. Describe what you want the video to feel like or exactly what to change. If you do edit, the full timeline is there and every AI change is a normal edit on it.
Can it cut by what I said?
Yes. Once the video has a transcript, our AI can cut transcript lines, a word or a phrase, the first time or every time it's said, and every filler word.
What if it gets an edit wrong?
Press Undo on that answer and the whole request is reversed in one step. Then ask again, or fix that one item by hand on the timeline.
Can it add motion graphics?
Yes. Ask for a lower third, a chart, a title card or a countdown and our AI picks a template, puts your words in it and places it on the timeline. You can edit the graphic afterwards.
Is chat editing on every plan?
Every paid plan has the chat: Pro is $20 a month, Studio $50 and Max $100. Bigger plans make more minutes of video.
